About the Mineral Cadastre Portal

Purpose & Mandate

The Mineral Cadastre Portal is an official initiative of the Directorate General of Mines & Minerals, Government of the Punjab. The platform modernizes mineral title administration by maintaining a unified geospatial and administrative registry of mineral applications, granted concessions, auction blocks, and revenue records across the province.

What is a Mineral Cadastre?

A mineral cadastre is the authoritative spatial and legal inventory of mining rights. By linking surveyed boundary coordinates (PAK-I / SRID 24376) with licensing records, demarcation reports, and financial obligations, the system prevents spatial overlaps and provides transparent oversight from initial application to lease completion.

Core Capabilities

• Interactive 2D and 3D WebGIS visualization of applications, concessions, and auction blocks.
• Spatial boundary verification against existing titles and notified forest/restricted areas.
• Centralized tracking of installments, royalty contracts, treasury challans, and bank guarantees.
